Round-the-clock help

Live-in care in Sturmer

When visits are no longer enough, live-in care brings a carer into the home full time. It suits people with advancing dementia, those at high risk of falls, and couples who want to stay together rather than move into a care home. Our live-in care costs £1,330 to £1,400 a week, compared with an area average of about £1,426 a week (homecare.co.uk).

We take time to match personalities, and our office team stays in touch with the family every step of the way.

About Sturmer

A small village with a long story

Sturmer is a village of about 525 people on the River Stour, two miles south-east of Haverhill. Its St Mary’s Church has a Saxon nave from the 9th century, the Red Lion dates from the 14th century, and the village gave its name to the Sturmer Pippin apple, first grown here by Ezekiel Dillistone in 1831.

Because Sturmer is so close, many families here already use Haverhill for shopping and appointments. Our carers simply make the same short trip the other way.
