Yes. Haverhill Home Care provides home care across Castle Camps, Shudy Camps and Camps End in South Cambridgeshire. Our CQC-registered team works from 36 Queen St, Haverhill, about 4 miles away, and offers domiciliary care at £23 to £25 an hour and live-in care at £1,330 to £1,400 a week, plus respite, night and companionship care. Why a Haverhill agency

Your nearest care team is in Haverhill, not Cambridge

The Camps sit in Cambridgeshire, so many of the agencies that appear in searches are based in Cambridge or in Essex towns such as Braintree. Castle Camps is around 15 miles from Cambridge but only about 4 miles from Haverhill.

Shorter journeys mean carers spend more of their time with you and less on the road, and it is easier to keep the same small team visiting each week.

About the Camps

Castle Camps, Shudy Camps and Camps End

The Camps lie in the south-east corner of Cambridgeshire, close to the Essex and Suffolk borders. Castle Camps takes its name from the de Vere family’s Norman castle, and its disused wartime airfield, RAF Castle Camps, holds the historic highest point in Cambridgeshire. Neighbouring Shudy Camps, known as Little Camps until around the 14th century, has a church, St Mary’s, that dates from about 1200.

  • Castle Camps: All Saints Church, primary school and The Oak pub
  • Shudy Camps: St Mary’s Church and the hamlet of Mill Green
  • Camps End: part of Castle Camps parish
